Aligned Core Strategies

The Aligned Core Strategies have now been through two stages of informal consultation, with further consultation specifically focused on housing provision and climate change. The City Council is now seeking approval to publish the document for a period of public representations and, subject to the approval of Broxtowe, Erewash and Gedling Councils, the Draft Aligned Core Strategies will be submitted to Government for Independent Examination, assuming there are no substantive changes to the strategy as a result of the representations.

The documents on this page include the Aligned Core Strategies, in so far as they relate to Nottingham City, which will be considered at the City Council's Executive Board on 21 February 2012.

The relevant background documents are also available to download, including Sustainability Appraisal, Equalities Impact Assessment, and Report of Consultation. Please note that all of these documents are subject to editing changes. Broxtowe, Erewash and Gedling Councils will be considering the document over the next couple of months.
