The Nottingham Jobs Plan
During any period of economic uncertainty, employers may have to make cut-backs which can lead to redundancies. There may well also be fewer vacancies available for those already out of work looking for jobs. Having secured funding from the Government, and with support from local employers, colleges and training enterprises, Nottingham City Council has developed a Jobs Plan which is helping to get over 2000 city residents into employment or on training courses.
The Jobs Plan is part of the Council's wider "We're on Your Side" campaign and its economic resilience work to support residents and businesses during periods of economic uncertainty. If you have been unemployed for some time, or are a young person currently looking for work, Nottingham City Council is here to help you find new opportunities.
